I've been on here for a long, long time. I've made a ton of friends here. Some I get to read about their cars on here, some I still hear from every day, and I got a best friend I've been lucky enough to meet, future9er24(Arin), in person. Hell, he and his father came to support me at my father's funeral.
I want to say thanks to all of the mods and admins who keep this place going and the community here who keeps this place alive. I don't know if Brad (TMS Brad) ever stops by, but thank you for building this site. I was lurking even before I was a member for who knows how long.
I came here because I had a friend whose dad had a Mustang when I was 11. I joined as a member of the forum when I was 13 years old. I'm 26 now. I've been here for over half of my life. I was here through high school, into college, and finally now in my real job as an automotive engineer. I have my curiosity to thank for some of it, my dad's willingness to let me tinker on the cars for a bit more, but I am extremely grateful for the group of people here who encouraged me to buy my first car, my second car, and who saw me buy the Honda I have (and secretly love) today. For helping me out with awesome deals to buy mods I couldn't afford as a kid in high school without them.
I think the community here is special. It certainly felt like it was when I was posting here over 10 times a day!
You've all helped me grow to who I am today, and I am so thankful to have this community. I know I haven't been active like I used to be, and I think it's unlikely I ever will be active like that again, but the place in my heart for TMS is undeniable.
I hope all the old-timers who were there when I was growing up see this! Thank you, all for the good times so far, and the good times yet to come.
My dad helped me buy my 2000 Mustang GT, and you all helped to make it uniquely mine. I've had that thing since just a couple months before he died, and I hope to have it for a good long while.

Welcome back Pete. Hope you remember me. I remember that day I came by your house and met you and Arin. I wasn't able to offer much help and felt out of place with my little V6, but I still remember that day because I admired yours and Arin's cars! Crazy how time flies. Hope all is well man!

Eh. He's not bad. I remember that day! I can't remember if that was long enough ago that it was the white 94, or if it was the 00, but I remember thinking your car looked sweet.
