Ford Racing is the worst game of all times.

this was talkked about here before but that is a new pic so its ok. the game is pretty cool. think about it this way. the game is targeted for the "import scene" and the 05 GT is featured in it. that means the car is aimed towards more crwods than just us and other ford lovers. this is a good thing for the mustang i feel.

Just a side note-
Don't go blow your $50 on the Nascar game just for a locked up sonic blue mustang GT. The game is VERRRY boring. I didn't know it had one in it until we got it home, and the game is
Actually, right now I'm kind of addicted to the Fight to the Top mode.
Go to Driver Edit, Enter Walmart as First Name and NASCAR as your last name and you will get $10,000,000 to play around with. Right now I am a level 3 villain.

OMG! WTF did they do to that mustang?

It is a cool game to play, believe me, my friend has it and we play it all the friggin' time. But, jeez man, they totally blew it.

I sense a rice invasion of our beloved mustang. I hope when people see this and realize its rice, they don't think its cool and try not to rice out their stangs.

I sure would hate to see replicas of this car on the road! :notnice:

Oh sorry :P

Ford Racing (Ford Racing 2, to be exact) stinks in my opinion. Bad physics, not realistic at all, graphics are bad, opponents unfair (they are basically just 10% faster than you all the time).

But make no mistake, The screenshots I posted are from Need For Speed Underground 2, sorry for the confusion

You wanna know what's funny? I think I saw that very same wing on a riced out taurus over at another mustang site, probably stangnet or s197.com, and everyone on the thread was making fun of it.

I think I'd shoot the person that does that to a Mustang in real life. That's cruel.

Hopefully, it's not gonna be rice. However, due to the type of game it is and the type of buyer that Rockstar is targeting, they probably will.

Oh........what a sad world we live in where great muscle cars get riced and people think its cool!

Just as bad a NFSU: 2. Did you see what they did to a 300C? They made EVERYTHING gold and look horrible. 24" rims are just as bad as 24" tall spoilers. My new philosophy.

there was an article in a Motor Trend a couple months back about the next gran turismo game. Sounds pretty intense, they've got like 150 cars that they've strapped all their equipment too, measuring performance and characteristics and all that, using GPS and lasers and so forth, recording exhaust notes, even measuring real world tracks, even to the point of measuring doors and windows on the buildings beside the track. Sounds pretty crazy realistic.

The only car game i ever played extensively was this flash based internet one, called Drag Racer. it was just a side scroller, so no steering, just gas pedal, clutch and shifting. But it was just as adictive as any game involving upgrades and so forth. They had three stangs on that one: an old shelby (they didn't specify), the current (not gonna be current much longer!) model, and the GT concept. I had all three, each putting out way more than 1000hp. Those games are great. Also had an S7 putting out like 2200hp. I just wish they had a GT-40.
The game almost made me fail one of my mechanical engineering courses.... how ironic.

Heads up about NFSU2, upgrading your car's look has no bearing on performance. You unlock engine upgrades by winning races, all upgrading body kits, neon, etc. does is unlock new body kits, neon, etc. Performance and Style are completly independent. You could have the fastest car in the game and make it look stock or the slowest car on the market and make it look like completly riced or anywhere in between.

Anyway, I hope you're right.

I've beaten the first game entirely about 5 times and he is right. The new one seems really good to me. What I like is the fact that you can cruise around 5 different neighborhoods and find 'secret' shops. Maybe I can blow them up with my 'SwEeT tIgHt ChRoMeD out tipz.'

True. I agree. But......if you don't rice out your car, then you don't get into the magazines, earn noteriety, and get more upgrades....which is the only downfall to keeping your car stock looking.

And I think we're forgetting, there were actually two or three body kits in the first Underground that weren't ricey but looked nice. And some of the spoilers can look nice, almost stock looking.
