the big improvement on GT4 was the way the cars handle (like, or close to the real cars)... so far, GT4 is the greatest handling game out there, and it's gonna be very hard to top it.
I dont know if Forza is gonna be a simulator like GT4, or be more of an arcade type racer If it is an arcade racer, than they shouldnt be compared.

GT4 is a PS2 game ... that means it will look worse than an Xbox game. The detail is very nice, the graphics are great, but the graphics hardware in the PS2 is inferior to what's in the Xbox. Simply put, if you put the same picture on the same screen with the same detail and artwork, the Xbox will look better.

The "Screenshots" that people are pulling off their PS2 using flash drives are not representative of what it actually looks like on the screen. You're getting the raw image before it's processed and spit out onto video. The detail is the same, but the actual image quality isn't nearly that good on the screen as you're playing.

I had to have it cheaper than renting an 05 GT ,not that you could as I thought that there was a post that Ford were not going to go that direction on them to rental agencies ?

Just bought it for my kid today. I don't play video games but I played the PS2 for the first time in 3 years all afternoon on this game. It was fun. Told the wife I was "practicing" for when I get mine.

My kid got the "cheat codes" where he was able to buy any car right off the bat. I don't approve of playing that way but he was able to run the GT all modded right away.
