I could ALMOST get this- Clocks in at 38k and I am in LOVE with it. I was Dodge Caliber shopping, and they had this. AND the freaking Calibers didn't arrive in yet. We are getting one of those soon to replace the POS alero.

I saw one on the road the other day. I thought it was frugly! JMO~

 

On my trip to windsor in January, i musta seen about a thousand of those cars... a giant field of yellow... and then several hundred more on trucks, heading west from toronto. I thought maybe they were preparing to take over the NY taxi market or something.... but then i noticed the black hood.

 

Hmm, not for sure why I don't like it but I don't. Maybe just the camera washing out the color ?

Imagine my beloved SY only brighter and more yellow.

With yellow seats and a yellow dash insert.

Its only negative is it was an auto.

Well that just sucks.
Its bad enough my mustang is auto. booooooooooring.

 

New Charger does nothing for me, really. It's podgy flanks look too much like some hot rod Checker cab to me, quite the opposite of the lean, long, low and chiseled original Charger.

Hemi 6.1 is, of course, a fantastic motor. I'd just love to see at least one version backed up by a manual tranny.

Basically a great motor and platfrom in need of a trimmer, more athletic (no, not Sumo wrestler) body.

the Caliber is an automotive fall from the ugly tree.....

The Caliber thingie is because we need something practical that gets good gas mileage,has some space and can fit a guitar or two in back without squishing anyone. We are also looking at 300s & Chargers(I wish!). Its gonna be black on black, which is cool because I don't have to wash it.
(out of six guitars only one case will fit in the mustang)

 

Ok Zoran-

I am a Ford Girl. I love Fords. I would ****** up a second mustang in a second.

My husband is NOT a Ford truck man. There is not a ford Vehicle out there (save maybe for the sporttrac) He wants- and the general agreement is, spending that much money on a Ford should be spent on something worthwhile like a Gt vert.

The Caliber because it can
A)Haul Guitars and kids without getting sandwiched up
[img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/cool.gif[/img] Gas Mileage- Eleanor gets VERY Crappy gas mileage(because I am still learning to conserve)
c) Its Cheap.
D) It has a cocacola cooler in it.

I like that Charger because its yellow and frickin Cool. BUT its $38K and I ain't dropping 38 k on a car.

And Yes- If the Challenger is affordable, we may trade one of our vehicles in on it when it comes out.

 

Love the color, but I still think it looks like a four-door tank. I can't imagine what the mileage is with that thing.

If it's a yellow car, it better be BRIGHT YELLOW, nothing washed out. As bold of a Yellow as possible. That being said, that Charger looks pretty good in yellow. I don't like the new Charger, missing the signature dents in the front panel and the 4 door is kind of stupid.

HOWEVER, from what I understand the Charger has always been automatic. (can someone back me up on this?)
