4.0 liter V6 236 HP @ 5200 266 ft lbs @ 4000
tons of chassis stiffening and it only comes with a 6-speed manual
I wish there was a ranger with the same concept, perhaps an svt version? because I'm in a band and carry around speakers/mixers etc. but i love driving good performing cars

not sure on the looks though

SVT did make a concept for the Ranger. It was called the Lightning Bolt. Heres a link SVT Lightning Bolt

They decided not to make it due to designing the new SVT Sport Trac Adrenalin which will feature a 390 HP 4.6 4v supercharged engine and an AWD system. Keep your eyes out for it in the next couple years.

I honestly don't know how much they'll go for. We won't find out until order guides are released.

We just got the order guides listed on Oct. 10th for the 2007 Sport Trac's.

I wouldn't wanna see Ranger like that. I saw many S-10 looking similar to Tacoma X-Runner, but that just isn't Ranger's style.

Yeah, Ford needs something to compete. Even the Chebby Colorado SS doesn't look bad:

Last time Ranger got major redesign was 1993.
AutoWeek said 2010.

Christ, Budders, would you please edit your post and remove that massive picture?

I've been wondering why Ford hasn't done squat with the Ranger in ages. But I hope they don't make it huge to compete directly with the Dakota or some of the other growing "compact" pickups. I think some people like the Ranger so much because it's about the only small truck left you can buy.

Thanks, man! I wish I could find those original bunny pictures...they gotta be on a CD somewhere.

I wasn't upset, just frustrated
