Yesterday I saw a 2003? F150 extended cab Harley edition with a SVT badge on the back along with Cobra badges on the rear and sides. This was in addition to all the Harley badges that are normally on the truck. The truck was also slammed to the ground. I just don't get it. Almost forgot to mention the Mach1 style hood from '71-'73. Just a little overboard for me.

I am very much against fake badging (esp. people who slap SVT and Cobra stuff on their V6 or GT). I think it's dishonest, and offensive to the people who actually paid to own the real thing. I don't have a problem with body packages or parts, just as long as you don't claim it is the real thing. One of the funniest I ever saw was a Pontiac Grand Prix, with "Magnum V8" badges from a Dodge Dakota.

It depends for me. If a Mustang has been fully converted over to say Cobra specs for example I think its acceptable, but to just put badges on your vehicle for the heck of it, thats a no no :nono:

ya, every once in a while, i'll notice real subtle ones. Like say a Merc CL500 with an AMG badge, even though the amg would be the CL55. Or say an Audi RS4 from the model that didn't have an RS version. The RS4 wasn't as annoying cause it obviously had some nice mods. But the merc was just funny, cause you know the guy thinks he's getting away with it. Not foolin me though, stinka, I'M ONTO YOU!
