Another post got me all sappy and sentimental about my last car. Got her for graduation in 2000, and I sold her last year before I ordered my Mustang. *sigh* Had some of the best moments of my life in that car. There is nothing in that car that is comparable to the new GT I'm getting as far as sheer numbers, and yet I shall miss it. I hope the redfire GT will be as flashy :P Anybody else miss their old cars?

I've owned too many cars to count, but the ones I still wish I had are:
1968 Mustang Fastback, 390, 4-spd
1971 Plymouth Road Runner, 383, auto (pushed it to 147mph once)
1956 Chevrolet Bel-air 2 dr, 327cid, 4-spd

My first car was a 53 Mercury 2dr hardtop with of course the flathead. A rustbucket (this was Chicago) with like 90K on it. Sure had some good times in high school tooling around. In winter, we would look for a empty sidestreet and see how many skid circles we could do in a block.

Hey Chris. You graudated in 2000, I am assuming from High School? Me too. Way cool.
Anyway. See my signature for past cars. The only one I really wish I still had is the 67. That's the one I am still kicking myself forgetting rid of.
Although the 96 was the 1st I actually drove. I drove it for 4 years & kinda miss it, I guess in a way I always will. And the 02, but only because of the color. I think my 05 will make up for it since it is the same color.
Nice idea for a thread though. Laters.

My last car was an 04 Expedition and I don't really miss it. On the other hand it was pretty much problem free and had a lot more room but it wasn't as fun to drive. Besides, the Mustang is more than just a car... It's a way of life.. B)

Previous car was an 02 Nissan Altima... V6 with 5-speed manual. Great car, fun to drive, pretty quick too for a FWD 4-door (0-60 in 6 seconds).
Lease was up, but yeah, sometimes I still miss it... but not when I'm driving around in my new car

My previous car was a 1987 Buick Grand National. I owned it for 7.5 years. It was a fun car and really fast (faster than my new GT). But it was old and becoming a real pain. Working on it wasn no longer fun, GM discontinued most of the parts, and what they had not discontinued was expensive. I was ready to get rid of the car it was broke down more than it worked. So no I don't miss it, I love my stang.

I really, really don't miss my stupid Acura. How can I ever forget the whine of a 4cyl at 8100RPM, shifting through 6 gears, all the unscheduled service visits, yelling in to my cell phone over the wind/road noise and don't get me started on the poorly designed braking system. I feel sorry for the person that owns it now. Then there was the incident with the deer and the hail damage that no one would repair. Oh the memories....what a nightmare. I truly hated that car and will never purchase another Honda product.
I do miss the Jeep I sold in '02 when I got that stupid car though.
