Wheels are finally in motion on the Mustang front, too.
Just curious why you didn't want 4WD. Kansas gets its fair share of snow, no? Although, the Escape is FWD, so I guess it wouldn't be too bad. RWD SUVs without 4WD are kind of pointless in my opinion. I have to engage the 4WD on my Wrangler whenever it rains to prevent it from sliding all over the place. My Grand Cherokee has full-time 4WD, well it normally runs RWD until it senses wheel slip in the rear and transfers power to the front.

Sounds to me like you need different tires. I've never locked in for rain, and only a few times per year in NE Ohio winters.

I switch between a 99 Mazda Protege LX and a 94 Mustang GT, both power everything but I mostly drive the Mazda, for gas savings, of course!

It's done that since it was new and they are factory tires. They are the bigger tires though, it's a Rocky Mountain Edition Wranger. Could be just all the oil and crap that builds up on the roads since we can go long periods without rain in San Antonio. Doesn't really matter at this point, I am selling it in a few months.

after two winters and dd my 06 I have a 1995 honda civic for a winter beater. Driving a lowered car around here in the winter stinks big time. Pot holes kill.

Hand me down.... My Ranger was 1/2 dead so we opted for a new vehicle for my wife and I got hers. Power windows are shot, I fixed the drivers side but it gets stuck. I can live without it unless I go to the drive thru - or- one of the dogs steps on the window opener and I have to force it up. Good enough for winter and it's paid for...

Perfect example of why GM is where they are today. The windows I mean.

This is my daily. But in a few years, I'd like to have the new Fusion Sport with the 3.5 and the 6spd. It may be possible too. Time will tell.

I've been driving it everyday since I was 15 3/4, and I've loved every minute of it.
