Interesting how so many of us like vintage cars from the 50's-70's. Cars are better today in every aspect, but they don't have the panache of the old ones. Hmmm. Maybe that's why retro is such a big success.

i think you got that one right on the head Scott. Older cars just seem to have more character. maybe its just cuz they're old, maybe cuz they were just built in such a way that they have that natural allure to them
but the point stands, older cars are just so darn cool
oh and to add to my list, i love the original 999 racer 1000+ cubes of four banger fun!!! lol this aint no honda I4, this is a beast. im starting to get all giddy.. i remeber seeing it in person in the henry ford museum... i love that car
imagine the kind of power one could make weith that much motor these days with modern EFI systems and intakes and blah blah.... oh man... i need to build a replica lol

I love all Mustangs, even II's... but some of my favorites are:
1967 Shelby GT500 (with the 427 Hirise engine)
1971 Boss 351 (very potent)
1967 S-code fastback (the 390 isn't the best engine, but its got great heritage)
1989 LX Coupe (with the 302 of course , great drag car)
1999 35th Anniversary
2001 Bullitt (make mine True Blue)
1966 Shelby GT350 (non-supercharged)
1993 Cobra R (amazing handling)
1986 SVO (great power on the top of the RPM range)
1985 Mustang GT (roller rocker 302 engine)
Some non-Ford favorites:
1970 Pontiac GTO Ram Air IV (very rude cars, especially in the 0-80 dept.)
1999 Nissan Skyline (R34 engine)
Any VW Beetle (except for the new ones of course)
2006 Mercedes CLS55 AMG
2006 Aston Martin Vanquish
1994 Subaru SVX
Okay this will go on for a while so I'll stop there...
