The author's flare is kind of annoying for me......However, he hit the nail on the head.......Yet, the people in the market for this car, will not care about it faults. Just like many of us overlook any pitfalls the mustang has. We love our cars, and therefore take the bad with the good.

Funny stuff, if you go on to read all the comments, its business as usual. Camaro faithful vrs Mustang faithful with a sprinkling of Mopar fans in there to spice it up. Does anyone have a year to date sales number on the Camaro?? I'm still standing by my figure of 60,000 units first year. I'd like to know where I stand.

39,151 by the end of September.

Mustang's sales for the same period were 46,763.

I was surprised he calls a 378cu in a 'small block'. (And isn't it a 6.2L?)

"The spatial challenge never dissuaded the Bowtie faithful for one reason: Chevy’s small block V8. With six smooth-shifting, close-ratio speeds and a burly 6.3 liters and 422hp of LS3 underfoot, the SS’s performance is absolutely right for the nameplate."

well its still the "small block chevy" the displacement really has no bearing on "small block vs big block" its really just the block's physical dimensions, which are same as any SBC

When will people stop buying crap becuase of the name on it? I learned in 6th grade tommy hill shirts were not worth 70 bucks! People need to say "NO thats not good enough and you are not getting my hard earned dollar". Mustang people have been doing it for years. I mean look what happened with the 99' cobra.

Say NO to brakes with weights on them..
