Thanks for all the great stories Red, I don't know how I always seem to miss them. And again I repeat America's favorite quote "foreign is better and more reliable" Toyota also ignores the persistant break failure problem that cuased a friend of mine's kid to crash into a 18 wheeler after he just bought a brand new Tundra.

I hope Toyota's "free pass" in this country is over, I never considered them a superior vehicle to begin with.

You can bet that if this was a Ford recall, it would've been shouted from every rooftop by every publication and news agency.

I'd like to see them all recalled back to Japan where they belong.

Absolutely, there would have been 15 mins of time on "60 minutes" devoted to such a travesty...

And American Morning did run a little piece on it a couple of days ago.

Toyota will notify owners starting in mid-February and repair the defective front suspension lower ball joints free of charge.

Ohh awful big of them , but I'd hate to think of all the bucks and logistics involved to fix the problem, That's Gotta Hurt.

The question is what would Ford have done for its customers had the same problem happened to them? Issued an immediate recall...a TSB...looked the other way until someone got injured?

No, seriously.

More precisely, this topic is becoming about bashing Toyota and looking the other way when it comes to Ford.

Translation: I am on topic.

Nice black GT, by the way.

I saw on the tonight show last night that Jay Leno mentioned this lol. So atleast people are hearing about it, even if the sources are a bit, odd. We just need this to appear on the front page of the usa today and msnbc.
