omg the last episode of this series was AWESOME. the stig the the man, but i bet he would have had his excrement handed to him on the 'ring. their entrance to the last scene was CLASSIC

Episode 6 was the best of Season 11 by far for me. I laughed at the Brits vs Germans segment. You see the German give Hammond the finger when he passed him during the rally truck stage? I had to freeze frame it, hilarious stuff. And at the end of the race Hammond goes to the German's car and starts yelling and hitting him on the helmet; that is perfect trash talking!! A+!

 

What a way to end the Summer series, and I can't wait for the fall!!! That contest between Germany and UK was HYSTERICAL!!! When they said they were getting 3 people from Germany to go against, and I saw a Sepang Bronze M5 pull up, I just knew that Sabine Schmitz was going to be there! She was ripping on Jeremy and it was too funny!!!

And small world. They tested the Gumpert Apollo (and while I won't spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen the Stig take it around the track, lets just say ITS IMPRESSIVE!!), there was an incident with the only US version here. Anyone hear about it? The person who brought it to the Cars & Coffee gathering in California, at the old Ford PAG headquarters, had a small incident with a parking lot speed bump. Lets just say, the speed bump wouldn't let it pass . See the link below to read about it, and see the pic to get the idea.

At the track the James May in the Aston was the coolest.
But you could totally see that coming

 

I totally knew they would use the stig, but i didn't see coming they would say it was James, that just made it hilarious.

 

I just watched it all on youtube.. I love that show.

 

would have been an awesome ending clip if james had gotten out of the aston. i thought the entrance was the best part, and yes i heart sabine, she is my hero.

 

The last episode was great, can't wait to see Top Gear back in the fall.

I thought one of the rules for a car on the power lap board was that it had to make it over a speed "hump." If that's the case the Gumpert would apparently not count.

 

It has adjustable everything on the car.
Would that not count?

It would count, and you are correct. Just like why they wouldn't allow the Caparo T1 (no adjustable suspension) to be on the board, but they allowed the Ascari A10 (driver adjustable ride height). I think the dope that drove the Gumpert in the US had no clue how to use anything.

 

in that case i want tanner foust driving the stang. at least we know he can drive

 

in those types of camparos, which guy driving which car doesn't really matter. and lets face it, none of the three of them would want the mustang because of the live axle. looking forward to the fall
