Any Shelby GT 500 I could lay my hands on.

And the Big Dog would be ................

A pavement pounding, alarm rattling, and window shaking 1971 Pantera push button. God do I love that car. I have never been in anything that compares to the back breaking acceleration of a finely tuned Pantera.

Here are mine:

1) Aston Martin DB9

2) Jaguar E-Type roadster, Series 1 or 1-1/2

3) Volvo V70R wagon

4) '92-'96 Ford F-150 XLT SuperCab longbed 4x4. IMO, these were the last good 'real' trucks Ford made, and are my favourites. Wait, my dad owns that truck, I might just buy it off of him someday!

Um, good luck with that one - you might be searching for a looooong time. The E-Type didn't come with a V-12 until 1971, when the Series III came out. 1967's were either Series 1 or 1-1/2, and only had I-6 engines.

I think the V-12 cars aren't nearly as pretty as the earlier models. The bumper, grille, and headlight changes really messed up the front of the car.

Just to note, JFK didn't get shot in a Cadillac, it was a Lincoln Continental, called the X100, I've seen it at the Henry Ford Museum, was about 2 feet from it. The windows looked like 5 panes of extra-thick safety glass sandwiched together.

Also, regarding the E-type confusion, there was the Series I (the pure car), the Series II (a Series I without the clear glass covers over the headlights), and the Series III. As Girchy said the Series III had the V-12, larger bumpers, egg crate grille...

There was also the Series 1-1/2. The glass covers were removed from the headlights, and there were some changes to the switchgear and US engine carburetion. The Series 2 also had uncovered headlights, but there were more physical changes to the outside.

But, yeah, the Series III is just sad. Kinda like the XK150 compared to the XK120 & 140.

oh, yeah, my bad on the v12. and I totally agree on the looks of the series three, although I wish they could have pulled off the wider track on the series three without the fugly flares. I mean, if one didn't buy a 60's jag for the looks, then what. Mechanics were so so (rear end aside), and they may as well not have bothered with the electronics, as poor as they were. How about a series one with the series three v12?
