I never took that trip, but have been documenting my mileage around town. I'm on my third tank full before using this, and when I refill (tonight or tomorrow, probably) I'll add some of the Ethos to the tank and the oil.

Should know in a few days if the mileage is eeking up.

Still working on the first tank with the EthosFR in it, looks to be about the same as before I put it in, but I've still got 1/4 tank to go before I fill up.

Just in case anyone was wondering, I got an 16.36, 18.16, and 17.00 MPG on the 3 tanks before I put it in. that's mixed use, some freeway but mostly city street driving around Las Vegas. Obviously I did more freeway on the second tank. Overall, the average was 17.2 MPG. I'm going to do 3 tanks using the product also, to compare.

Just finished the second tank this morning, but haven't done the calculations yet, and I'm out of town for a week. The first tank looked (at a quick glance) to be about the same as before, and I'm thinking the second tank is also. I've got a full bottle left (about 8-10 more tank-fulls) and will use it up, but I right now if it's making any difference.

Wonder how many snakes they have to press to get enough oil to fill up each bottle?

My guess is at least 3 snakes. Snake oil is very easy to extract...

Next post will be that he burned a hole in a piston and needs a new out-of-warranty engine.... This is the penile enhancement pill for car engines. The reason smog went away was because of EMISSION CONTROLS on modern cars. If enhancement pills worked like they claimed, clothiers would of long ago changed the shapes of underwear... A 1971 Pontiac Catalina puts out the emissions of 150 Focus PZEV 2.0's. Modern automobiles put out such low emissions its no longer a logical target for helping with 'greenhouse gases'(ok I got a migrane saying that).... Third world countries that belch filth in to the air are the real problem, although very inconvenient for self proclaimed 'evironmentalists' from spewing their own verbal polution into the air so they just cry about cars...

BG44k is an excellent additive for cleaning the engine and just about any service center stands by it. You only need to do it in moderation though, a couple bottles a year or so. It won't give you miracle mileage, does a hell of a job on older quad-carb motorcycles...Its pretty much the only additive you should ever use on a modern car, again in extreme moderation.

I ran nearly a full tank on the highway the other day, averaged less than 22 mpg cruising at 73mph. Don't think this additive helped any there. I'm thinking my experiment is over, and I'm calling it a bust. No noticable difference with and without this stuff, and I followed their directions for use.

I really don't know, it was a round trip from Las Vegas to Mesquite and back, mostly with cruise on.

This weekend I'm putting my CMCV plates back on (anyone want used delete plates?) and re-programming for 87 octane gas, I don't do any racing, and think the torque tune would work better for me than the racing tune. We'll see if the new tune helps the mileage any.
