Street racers pay a high price
Street racers pay a high price
Well I know there have been a few topics on this, and the same law was passed in Ontario, Canada. All I can say is, if you want to street race, well, then you know what is going to happen to your car. I'd rather see car crushed than kids killed on the streets any day.
Quote of the year!
"350-horsepower engine
Hoang said he was caught late last year racing his prized car, on which he spent at least $10,000 to get into top shape. The 350-horsepower engine topped out at 160 mph, Hoang said, swearing it could beat a Corvette or even a Ferrari."

This kid pretty much dealt with the ultimate price.

He also got something like 4 years for this too. OBTW, he was in a mustang.

What would be the reason for University students not being able to travel? There's just no logic in that, whatsoever...
And back on topic. I'm all for racing, but keep it where it belongs, on the track. The occasional 0-80 at a stop light on a 4 lane highway isn't always deadly, but it can be. I still do it though, but only when it's about 2am and I'm the only one in sight.
But, street racing is bad news. And those Fast and Furry movies just glorify something that shouldn't be glorified. It's probably the reason street racing is increasing as well...
