Now I'm sure that it won't have the valence down below so imagine it without that part. Most of you know I'm not a Toyota fan, but I'm still interested to see what new models look like.
Camry
I saw this and just fell asleep....
The tailights changed for the better, I'll say that. But that's about where it ends. I looks too much like the Acura lineup! My wife who is not that into cars even said that as soon as she saw that. And whats up with the dip in the hood where the logo is? That rounded area just kind of messed up the whole "angular" shape I think they were trying to go for.
Not to mention the interior is bland. It looks like they started working from the console out and then just ran out of time.
I'm sorry, I know the plan was to stand out but I think they just blended in more.
But that seems to be the trend of most (not all but most) asian manufacturers. The whole thing just looks pudgy and cobbled together as if the right hand didn't know what the left was doing.

I like it. It looks bigger than current model. It actually looks more like Lexus than Toyota. I would buy it. Finally a car that looks awesome from Toyota.

I wonder if the Porsches were to defray attention from the 'regular' car parked betwixt? Or maybe attract it, for "cool by association" points.
One of those...I'm pretty confident it didnt stumple upon a couple of cup 911s.

All come with a 158-hp 2.4-liter 4-cyl engine and a 5-speed manual transmission or a 5-speed automtic [sic]. LE, SE, and XLE also offer V6 versions with a 268-hp 3.5-liter and a 6-speed automatic transmission. Camry's previous most-powerful V6 had 210 hp and used a 5-speed automatic.
Both '07 automatics include a manual shift gate. The Hybrid teams a special 2.4-liter 4-cyl gas engine with a battery-powered electric motor for 192 net hp. It teams with a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT) providing near-infinite drive ratios. Like Toyota's smaller Prius hybrid, Camry's automatically drives on either or both power sources, depending on conditions, and requires no plug-in charging. Antilock 4-wheel disc brakes are standard for all models. So are front torso side airbags, head-protecting curtain side airbags, and, for the first time, a driver's knee airbag.

Zoran-
If you could please link the article to which you found the information regading the 2007. We don't want to have any copyright infringement issues. And they have become an issue on a number of more popular sites.
I assume you acquired the information through www.treehugger.com?

That interior looks cheaper than what Ford uses, just with some fancy glow in the dark looking covers and an abundance of satin silver plastic. And again, uninspiring design. Guess I am biased or a bit bitter, but with all the domestic bashing it's only fair to give a little back of what you are given.
On that note, not a "bad" car. But, I'm not much of one to settle for a car that doesn't evoke an emotional response, either when you drive it or look at it. Getting sick or falling asleep don't count either, hah.

Thanks for the extra pics Zoran! ![Thumb](https://themustangsource.com/forums/images/smilies/thumb.gif)
The backend does look much better!
But the front end still just doesn't look right. It just looks too "pudgy" for lack of a better word. It's just too rounded for me. Still seems lackluster compared to other vehicles.

I showed these pictures to my mom and she said she might trade her 1994 Camry for 2007 Camry.
