That's just the Lancer. Hopefully the Evo X will look sportier and edgier. So far, it just looks like a boring family sedan.

Presumably it's the base Lancer puppy, not the EVO wolf. Sounds a little like they might have a more credible intermediate model between the insipid base Lancer and the insane EVO, kinda like the Subaru Impreza lineup (base, WRX, STi).

That intermediate model may be the "Ralliart" shown in prototype testing in some of the mags which sounds promising.
