i cant believe he'll have competing cars! Saleen Mustang versus SMS Challenger!!

 

He won't. The Saleen Mustang is from the company that he no longer controls. SMS is his new company, and these are the first cars out of it.

 

And Phil Frank is still with him as the designer (created the S7 and all the S-281 looks) who never saw "a gill, grill, or vent" he didn't love.
Just look at the lower valance.

 

That is just unnecessary...

It could be worse, but it sure as **** ain't improving the look. I'll take mine plain

 

Swing and a miss from Saleen.

How about a 71 Cuda style front end, a Shaker hood, and a 426 stroker motor making an easy/streetable 550hp????

 

They must address the weight problem or else you're better off spending the money on a Z06 or GT-R. Because most likely the SMS Challenger will be in the same price bracket.

hmm, you can see hes using his hood butterflys again. looks pretty neat.

Its got the PJ wheels on it.

 

I would have no issue owning one of those and parking it next to my stang.

I like it too. But unfortunately its gonna cost an arm and a leg. Take the price of the Challenger and add what they've been adding to the Saleen Mustangs and OMG. I don't know what Saleen SC281 sell for elsewhere, but here they acutally put 59,000 to 61,000 on the window stickers. For what? I'd rather have the GT500 and pay the ADM than pay that huge fee for owning a Saleen or I'm sure the SMS also.

 

Here comes another nice looking, but way overprized fashion statement.
