I was heading down I-81 this morning on my way to Owego, NY for a car show when I saw an orange challenger SRT8 coming up behind me. I got a great look at the car when he pulled up next to me and must say that is one sweet machine. It had temporary tags so I am assuming the guy just bought it.
I had the urge to drop the hammer to see what he would do but unfortunately I was in heavy traffic and was about to exit onto Route 17.
I just gave him a thumbs up and went on my way...as I hit my exit my fiance said why didnt you get a picture?. crap...

 

I saw one the other day and it had a auto trans in it. I thought they were supose to be 6 speed only cars

 

You saw the "Limited Edition" 2008 SRT-8 model. All of these are auto trans. The 2009 models will have a manual trans.

 

Its a good thing you didn't get a chance to run him, you don't want to inflict embarrisment that early in his new car ownership.
