Welp because i live under a rock i just found out that Chip Foose won his 3 consecutive Ridler Award
with this car which took 6 years to build.


Wich is how can you say it..simply stunning!

wait, i thought if it could be done in a year, Chip could do it in a week? 
does that mean if the build fo this was televised he would have finished in 6 weeks?
in all seriousness (gasp, is this possible?) props to ya chip, for making abother awesome car

Ken Reister of Littleton, Colorado with his Chip Foose designed and built 1936 Ford roadster proved to much for the competition and, hence, was awarded the 2005 Don Ridler Memorial Award for the shows best vehicle, first time shown. Congratulations are in order for Ken, Chip and the rest of the crew that brought this outstanding roadster to “life.â€

yes charley did paint it. He's said so numerous times on the Overhaulin message board.
He posts there alot. seems like a real good guy. I'm glad he's not with boyd and is hangin with Chip now.
curous fact while researching this info on the car i read on one site that said the brake pedal alone has something like 500 hours of work in it.

yea, boyd treated him like crap...he made him work overnight almost everynight and got all pissed when he left....chip ain't like that...he's a nice guy, woudn't make charley work those ridiculous hours
