That Nova in your blog you posted looks killer!
Almost looks like a pro-touring build. Nasty car indeed.
I love the classic cars, but I also love the pro-tour builds. (I'm talking "true" pro-tour builds. Suspension, engine, mini-tubbed, brakes, wheels, and so on.)

Great article, Joe.
It simply boils down to personal choice. Purists, particularly the arm-chair variety, can cry foul all they want, but if it's not their car and their money, then their opinions fall on my deaf ears.
I think one of the coolest things ever to happen in our world was when Pebble Beach allowed hot rods a few years ago. I can't help but smirk, knowing how rattled the champagne sipping, Brie eating crowd felt when they saw those obnoxious, fenderless, backyard engineered beasts on the same grounds as Bugatti Royales and Hispano Suizas. What's next, monster trucks?
I just bought a new GT Premium convertible. However, at age 62 I'm embarrased to admit that despite the generation I'm from, it's my very first muscle car. But I'm finally in the club now after all these years. Scratch one from the bucket list.
Classics, restorations, hot rods....it's all good.
