All I can say is....I'm glad I'm a Mustang guy! The 2010 Camaro was decent looking. But what are they doing to this next one! Yeeeesh!

The front is ok still...the side mirrors are icky!

The tail lights are ummmmm....

Right, but these pics are from Germany. Could it be the changes are simply Euro-spec?

Moving the reversing lights was a good move. Adding a pair of spectacles to the rear, and some truck mirrors to the side are not a good move

That seems to be the assumption from the camaro5.com forums. The pics of the convertible don't show any changes to the taillights or side mirrors.

GM would go through all the trouble/time/money to do this just for Euro markets? HMMM....

It's possible, don't they have different standards in Europe?

Yes, at least...
- Orange turn signal lights at the rear
- Rear red 'fog' lights that come on when the front ones are turned on
- Angel eyes daytime lights
- Front fender turn signals (seen on the Camaro's mirrors)
- Euro style plate mount (see screws on sides of plate)

The convertible will be out in 2011. This "new" model won't be out until 2012.

Just a guess ...

Pretty minor, just altered the rear lighting scheme (including getting rid of the afterthought backup lights) and added the mirror signals

The new GM LOL, now make sure to make it 4,000lbs and make sure to make the tranny super weak again, oh and don't forget the cheap paint, brake weights and raise the lolaunch control to 5k!

Hoping those tail lights and mirrors stay on that side of the pond.

GM has done it before... Back when the third generation F-body was exported in the 1980's, they had specific euro spec break away mirrors, specific outboard amber rear turn signal lamps, a wider license plate pocket and fender mounted repeater turn lamps.

You all would be suprised how many vehicles GM exported in the past had specific export parts, most notably amber rear turn signals incorporated into the US versions all red lenses.

When I had my 1989 Camaro I was able to order euro spec taillamp lenses from the parts department...
