Production Challenger - on the road!
the best part about this car...is that it looks like someone put 150K into making a Chally restomod...but everyone can get one!..and not for 150K.
Walked into a my local dodge dealer just for the heck of it and asked whats the word on these Challengers. Salemen told me they wont be in the dealers until late spring, early summer. Then he proceded to tell me that every dealer will get 1 and that they are asking atleast 20k over list which is 40,xxx including GGT! On another note, i walked into the FORD dealer across the street and they had a Bullitt in which they stated they will part with for sticker in which i think was 33,xxx, and a Red/White GT500 They will take 50k for. Just felt like sharing.

Let the scumpuppies begin the gouging.
IMO, the Challenger is much more attractive than the new Camaro, inside and out. I think Dodge is going to have a huge hit on their hands, especially once they release the R/T and inevitable V6 versions. I definitely won't mind seeing these on the road all the time!
I can't wait till Wednesday, as Dodge is officially unveiling the production Challenger to the masses simultaniously at the Philadelphia Auto Show and at the media day at the Chicago Auto Show. The "dealer" show as I call it, is having a massive official American unveiling. This car wasn't even unveiled at Detroit, but here! VERY COOL!!!
Oh yeah, this car looks 10X better than the Camaro. If (and only if) I had the money, I'd order a 2009 loaded 6-speed in Sublime!!!

Originally the first run was to be 5,000, and every Dodge dealer was to get 2.
Those pre-sold very quickly. Lowest ADM I heard of was 5K. Then Chrysler decided to add 5,000 more to the production run. 10,000 cars is a lot of cars, but if they'd have said 10,000 when they first announced them it would have been harder for dealers to get the big ADMs so fast. Now they get to do it twice.
