Possible new BMW M4...said to be 97% accurate

I think it is gorgeous if thats really it..

Powerwise suppose to be equal to current car (415hp) but with 100 ft/lbs of tq (395tq) and the weight down to the E46 M3 or 3400lbs. Also ceramic brakes are suppose to be in the offering, probably this option is going to cost a fortune if they follow Porsches prices.

I usually don't like BMWs, but M4 does look pretty good.

Wow........if that really is 97%, then it's gorgeous. Better than the concept (didn't like the wheels or overdone bumpers and interior trim on that).

THIS is the car I want the 2015 Mustang to aspire to be.

BMW continues to set benchmarks. Absolutely gorgeous car! Porsche might have a new contender on its hands! And the new mustang (hopefully) is gonna be right up there too in terms of design, functionality, elegance, and performance

If only BMW would get a new interior layout. Drives me nuts!

From the outside she looks good though

Wow, that's sharp. I've never been fond of the BMW interiors (I prefer the Audi setup) but this looks good. I'll be interested to see if the rumors of a Black Series competitor from BMW are true. A new CSL with the ceramic brakes you mention could be a killer car.

+1 on the bad designed interior.

Has anyone seen the interior on the 4-Series? For a second, I thought it was Ford F-350 King Ranch with this color and this type of the leather.

BMW interiors used to be some of the best, in my opinion, but the e39 5-series and e46 3-series were the last good ones. The Bangle-era interiors lost their driver-focused dash design and really didn't look good. However, I think they've got their mojo back both internally and externally (and I don't buy that cr*p the Bangle spouted about BMW design needing to be pushed to the limit.......I swear the latest cars are a natural progression from those pre-Bangle cars........although I did like his 3-series).

Oh, and the very brown interior, above, is from the 4-series concept, so it's a bit "out there" in terms of colours and materials.

I've never had the pleasure of any M3 seat time, but I'd love to, just to see what magic the M guys sprinkle on the cars. I love my e46 330i, but everyone say the M3 is in another league.

There's something about a straight six BMW engine, too. So I'm glad BMW are returning to that format for the M3/M4

Quite nice in general and certainly a major improvement over the ungainly Bungle-era designs, if not quite to the E46 level of timeless design.

A lot of Euro cars seem to be offering Alcantera (sp-?) headliners and pillars, I'd have to see in person before passing judgement on that. Otherwise, the interior (and exterior) seem a lot more cohesive and of-a-piece than the previous version, returning to an ethos of good design rather than a lot of design.

Dunno about the interior, but I love the exterior, reminds me of the M3's from a generation or two back.

I absolutely agree with your observations regarding BMW interiors. I own a 09 M3 coupe with the extended leather package, and it is NOT impressive. At the time I built the car I was also cross shopping the AudiS5 and Merc C63. Both of these vehicles had considerably better quality interiors in my opinion. In the end i did settle on the M3 mostly because i preferred the exterior over the other two. The car is a very nice vehicle, enjoyable to drive both conservatively and aggressively. The 4.0 liter v8 is an excellent engine with a very euro hp curve/exhaust note. It screams! That said, i miss TORQUE! You do not feel torque at all in this car. Power is there, but only in very high RPMS. Acceleration is decent but you wouldnt know it by the way it feels. Overall, a great daily driver, but honestly overhyped. It will soon be traded in for a 2014gt500

I approve of everything except the name. I still have no idea why BMW is making the 3 series coupe the "4 series" all the sudden. Stupid decision in my opinion.

Dave.......what's the timeline on this. I'm guessing the non-M version of the 4-series will be launched first........but will the M3 (4-door) be launched before the M4?

So many models........so many launches!
