Hey you know what would make that handle nice? Take out those rear seats and put the engine there!

This car is wrong on so many levels...

Being that it isn't a photoshop, your statement doesn't exactly say good things about the styling of the car....

It looks like they couldn't decide whether to make the back a fastback, a hatch, or a Wagon. Thumbs Down.

Yuck.

The engine options are tempting though, especially the 560hp tt. I couldnt imagine a higher potency version of the Carrera GT's engine in there though. That would probably make some very rich porsche lovers very angry, after paying half a million for their 600 and some hp (604?) GTs.

Yikes! As if the Cayenne wasn't ugly enough, though this one will probably look marginally better.

I think mere observers like us are typically more concerned with one-upmanship within an exotic brand like Porsche than are the rich fools who regularly buy those cars. Take a look at Ferrari's current F430 for example.....it'll give an F50, which is by no means old, fits in terms of acceleration or handling for a lot less dough.....and all of this from Ferrari's entry level car. Despite all this there has been no uproar from the Ferrari faithful. In fact, those guys never complain about their beloved cars getting faster....hmmmm.

Touche

I guess the true Porsche fans wouldnt be too concerned about that. The rich posers/owners with more money than brains i suppose would be the ones that might not be too enamoured with the one upmanship.

Found a pic of the coupe version concept, could lead to the return of a new 928.
Don't think this is too close yet to the final design, but it looks like they are
planning to bring out a front engined coupe again.

Now that I like a lot!
I've always loved that front engine 6/4 bangers from the 80's.

I hope they get some similar taillights on there though.

I remember seeing a render of what an updated Porsche 928 would look like, but I can't seem to find it anymore.

Front engined, correct?

I can't wait to see the real thing. Maybe it will get rid of the godawful Cayenne. I would much rather have a four door than a boat from Porsche.

That photoshop of the 'concept coupe' looks amazing. I can't wait to see the that on a concept stand somewhere.

I like it! hahaha.... Yeah, it definitely looks a little rough, but i think they can pull it off when its all finished. I like the idea of small four door cars. Like these new super sleek sedans from aston, maseratti, the XJ's pretty sleek too.
