I have no interest in any SUV regardless of who builds it.

 

I never did understand the need for a $100,000 SUV from Porsche'. Ironically, I have seen quite a few of them on the road. Just amazes me how many people actually have that kind of money to just potty away.

 

So true. As to why Porsche built it, well, they were the rage when they planned it. Rising fuel costs may have deterred most SUV buyers but probably not those who can afford the entry fee for this one. Does anybody have any numbers on recent sales figures for this thing?

I always thought the Porsche Cayenne looked like a Chrysler mini van that some one tacked the headlights from a 911 on to.
