The old Charger
they are doing a challenger due out in 08 I believe. I think it will be kinda hard to get one and if you do you will pay well ovewr the sticker price. The charger has been out a few years now.
Wish the new one did take its styling cues from the early Charger rather than, apparently, the Checker Marathon. Oh well, Dodge/Chrysler styling really seemed to be on quite a roll for a while (mid-late 90's, early 2000's) but really seems to be drifting off into the weeds lately, just not quite the same level of finesse as before.
But seriously, the Checker Marathon was a heck of a car in it's day. On top of that it was well designed and suited for it's roll as a cab. I worked on a couple back in the day.The current Charger is a victim of corporate lunacy that dictates that a truck grill must be drafted onto every car they have. Who’da thunk’a Charger should have a truck grill.
Oh, but it has a Hemi in it therefore it must be OK!Yeah, right!
OMG! That is beautiful!!! Just think if Dodge had built that!!!

It really is, I cant stand it. And they are starting to ge like the 300's in my area, where they are a dime a dozen, and everywhere you look. Besides that, the only decent Charger's that there are is the SRT8, and possibly the Daytona.
One more reason for Ford to get its act together. A 300hp 'Stang just doesn't cut it anymore...and I'm not paying 55-grand for a GT500.
Pretty soon there's gonna be so many cars on the street with more than 300hp that the Mustang will be the ultimate joke.
Not to mention that nearly all of the muscle cars that are coming back, come out of the box with more stock hp than ours.

And GM keeps trotting out their vaporware Camaro with all these wild horsepower speculations because the "ultimate joke" Mustang is doing well in sales.

Camaro and Firebird didn't fail because of horsepower.
My buddy have '94 Trans Am and that car is horrible. Ugly and cheap interior, small backseat and trunk, front seats are not big either and it just doesn't feel like 275 hp car.
