Now I think I have seen it all....

I realize this is a Mustang forum but saw this car today while at Walmart....aren't these like over $100,000 new? Why turn it into a Trans-AM???? The kicker was when I saw the hood scoop from a T/A 6.6 Trans Am mounted to the rear window ( I actually had a black 78 Trans Am T/A 6.6 in black). Sorry about the quality, it was with my cell phone...

This is why you can't give rednecks money.
It's even got the carbon fiber side piece.

Here's another thread regarding mutilated cars: https://themustangsource.com/f637/body-kit-fail-507405/

If they had gone ahead and put the hood "scoop" where it belonged and pointing in the right direction (or left it off entirely) , I think it would have been okay.

I'm sure that rear window mounted hood scoop serves a purpose of some kind.

I find it strangely appealing... or appealingly strange...

The R8 is my "someday-dream-car" (I'd even "settle" for the V8 version!), and I was a big fan of the old Smokey and the Bandit movies, so... yeah.

I agree the hood scoop should just go away, but I do like the rest of it!
