The new Honda Accord
http://wot.motortrend.com/2013-honda...de-243995.html
The 2013 Honda Accord will be powered by a 2.4-liter inline-four with at least 181 hp, mated to a continuously variable transmission or six-speed manual. An optional 3.5-liter V-6 will produce at least 271 hp, and can be coupled to a six-speed automatic or six-speed manual transmission (the latter, likely only on the 2013 Accord coupe). As for the plug-in hybrid, that Accord will use a 2.0-liter i-VTEC Atkinson-cycle four-cylinder engine with an electric CVT and have an all-electric mode that could have a 10-15 mile range.

The new rear of the sedan is nice, though very much a copy of the Genesis sedan. The front is too similar to the current Accord as is the side view. The coupes taillights are too sad, they look like they're on the verge of tears.

These look almost exactly like the current Accords, except for the Hyundai Genesis rear on the sedan. I looked at an Accord sedan a couple years ago for a beater and walked away from the test drive disappointed. I was hoping the next generation Accord would be more exciting, but now I'm doubting it. The previous generation Accord wasn't a bad car for what it was.

Snork, hrumph, grrrp, oh, sorry, must have dozed off looking at those new Accord pics. That IS the NEW Accord, right?
Redux of Honda's approach of doing good by doing no wrong, even while doing nothing truly great. An ultimately competent, capable and mundane transportation appliance that will meld right in to suburban scenery all across America. Kind of a block of Velveeta cheese on wheels.

I think it's better looking overall but I don't think it should be advertised as an all new car. It actually reminds me of the 2010 mustang refresh, subtle but improved overall. I'm actually considering the new v6 coupe as my next daily... I wish there were more fwd midsized coupes on the market.

Good little cars. My wife loved hers until I sold it to make room for the 2013 GT I ordered! Her 2003 coupe was very nice and had great features. I especially loved the dual climate control zones (had to get the electronic package as a result) but one feature we need to see more adoption of is the lack of radio antenna. It is built into the rear window. Luckily she didn't know about the 2013 redesign as she was up for the next vehicle, but it's tough to have two sport cars at once. So I keep my Xterra and add the Stang to the stable!
