Another part that I got was a new transmission oil cooler. The factory one is twisted like a pretzel since this truck was involved in a fender bender before I got it.
It's been a few weeks since the ac was fixed by a local shop. New condenser with the new compressor I supplied plus a complete system flush & aĺl new o-rings & recharge. Works better than when I got the truck. A big bill, but it was soo worth it.
"Muffler inlet has left the chat".
The entire tube got out of the miffler lol. I ordered a fully welded unit from summit racing. It should arrive today.
Also got a flat tire this Monday at work. It sucked to change it for the spare since it was a very hot day. Got it fixed before returning home.
I've been buying parts to change the looks of the Ranger a bit. An LED multi-function strip for the space under the tailgate, three ambrer LEDs for the grille and a sport track radio bezel to name a few.
Other than the new upper control amrms installed & the new LEDs, nothing new to report. Those control arms improved quite a bit the trucks responsiveness on turns. Now it feels very predictable. Still needs new tires, but I'm still debating if I'll change the wheels.
Truck was acting up yesterday early in the morning. Flipped the key a few times for it to start. Gues the starter motor's on the way out, so I ordered one online. Also one rear wheel drum had one brake shoe stuck. Put it in R it wouldn't budge. Shifted to D an a loud clunk later it was free.
Last Friday the truck decided to self drain it's coolant at work Filled her up with water and off we went. No issues since it was clear roads on the trip home. Timing cover gasket went boom. Wrenched all weekend and finished it on Wednesday. While I was in there, chain, sprokets & water pump were replaced since I didn't want to do all this work again anytime soon. Truck runs great!
