My First Non-Mustang
After 9 years of owning Mustangs since I was 15 years old, I just picked up a... Honda. I still own my 00 GT, but I am cleaning it up to be sold. Now before you grab pitchforks, I still love my Mustang, but at this point in my life it wasn't practical, and for whatever reason, it was just way too expensive. Over the time I've owned my GT it has blown a headgasket, thrown a rod, killed an insane amount of COP's. I realized that I can't afford the upkeep, and while I'm in school and working it is imperative to have a car that works every time I turn the key, and make it from a to b every time I hit the road.
So on to the Honda. It's a 2003 with 150k miles. Luckily it has a pretty good reputation for being reliable, and it's been great so far. I picked it up a month ago. I am embarrassed to say it, but the variable timing and weird torque curve is very fun. I'll keep you guys up to date on what changes on the car, but so far all I've done is change the headlights and wheels to stock.

Very nice, what year?
BTW I am a fellow S2000 owner, I've had my 04 for about 10 years. Let me know if you have any questions, like how to open the fuel filler door or where the secret compartment is.

Nice car. Never been partial to the S2000 myself, but I see the appeal nonetheless. Maybe down the road you can find yourself in another Mustang. Maybe a side-toy
Best of luck to you.

Thanks guys. My Mustang is still being used now by my brother as he just got back from boot camp and hasn't bought himself a car yet. I love the Mustang, but I need something more reliable. The S2000 ticks both the boxes fun-to-drive and reliable. Just need to stay on top of the fluid changes, and I should be good to go.

Looks like a pretty clean car for 12 years and 150k. I still am looking to buy one to make a track car out of, but the ones being sold locally are usually too expensive and too nice to gut, strip, and make a race car out of.

Glad your liking the S2000. Looks nice. I bet it is fun to throw around.
Just like before, I hate to see that Bright Atlantic Blue GT go. Always loved that color and still miss my old V6. I guess it's just as well your on the other side of the country, cause otherwise I'd be figuring out a way to pick it up from you :-). (Bright Atlantic Blue GTs aren't a common sight)
