I went to an auto parts store to pick up some Mobile 1 5W20 for my next oil change. There was not enough on the shelf, so I asked the guy behind the counter. He said that 0W20 was the same (they had some of that) and even showed me the info on their screen that pulls up both for the same SKU :scratch: . I am not even going to pretend like I know whats up here. Are they the same , or is this guy smoking crack :bang: ? Ford says 5W20 thats what I'm putting in.

 

I work at the only facility in North America that manufactures Mobil1 and I've heard nothing about 5W20 going away. In fact, it's still listed on the Mobil1 website. I'd try a different auto parts store if I were you.

 

Thanks, I did follow up with a trip to Pep Boys and they had cases of it on sale.

 

Try Wal-Mart, they always have it.

 

At least 2 of our local Wal Marts were out (They were my first choice).
