While the McLaren is definitely a looker, I think the Saleen Raptor looks (looked?) better. Too bad the Raptor probably won't see production, though.

After reading the description and the tech features the new McLaren MP4-12C has, this sounds like the car the GTR wishes it was. I like their philosophy too.

WOW! This came outta Left Field! I think it's Dead Sexy!!!!

Although, I can hear the 2010 Mustang Haters already.....Look at the back end, with it's Ugly Angles and Black Plastic.....

Although, It Reminds me a lot of a Fiero I designed about 6 years ago for a contest ... Which for some reason I can't seem to upload an image of.... As well as one I designed back in 93. Which I can't Upload Either

Umm no, unlike Ford, McLaren did a better job with the rear end treatment and "black plastic".

Even though i'd take the Ferrari Italia over it, that car is still sexy!

A fantastic car and, like the McLaren F1 before it, a technical tour de force. I like the McLaren focus on light weight -- mass being enemy #1 for performance -- and such a tight integration of new and current technologies.

It will make a compelling competitor to the Ferrari Italia and Lambo Gallardo, both of which are excellent cars too. Can't wait for the inevitable comparison tests.

As for the back end styling, WAYYYY better than the lumpy, bumpy, frumpy '10 Stangs. This thing's is, taut, balanced and finely integrated, just a much better execution.

I wish it had more Mclaren F1 styling cues. Too much Lamborghini Gallardo and Lotus Evora in the front and Saleen S7 in the side scoops.

Peter thinks: McLaren should buy Saleen so that the current people can't keep doing all the stupid things they do, and McLaren can put all their awesome-tech into the S5 body.
