pretty cool, i must say...

but i dunno if im just being ignorant here, but how is it that a 7.0 TT only has 725hp and 730ft lbs? i mean, shouldnt something like that be 1000+

or am i just naive? cuz i mean, it seems that 700 hp should be attainable with a N/A 427...

eh, its prolly just my weird brain...

LOL, I agree
Aside from them being engineered in a total inpractical they are great

Yeah, I agree Arin. I've got to believe those turbos are barely whispering, i'de guess ~ 4 psi.

Yes its a low psi config. Meant to still keep the car streetable. Im sure the motor alone makes close to 450+

You'd think they'd advertise it's full potential just for bragging rights , not that 750 is nothing to look down at

Although when it comes to power and fun, inefficiency could be the least of my worries, just as long as it has the hp/lb in favor

It would certainly be cool if LPE engineered a performance maximizing button, sort of like the new M5 with its "100hp toggle." Imagine driving it to the track in "streetable" 750hp guise, slapping on some serious slicks, pressing the button (which will alter timing, fuel delivery, up the boost to 15 psi) and rip off 1/4s consistently in the 8s.

lol and imaging the problems that would come with that. u know, ur sittin in traffic, accidentally hit to toggle w/i knwing it. you tape the gas, and all of a sudden you're underneath the superduty that was 3 cars ahead of you a second ago.

but then again, its not like every tom, weiner and harry will be driving one of these lol

I dont know how many prospective LPE-prepped Z06 owners would be stupid enough to accidentally hit an out-of-the-way toggle (think a nitrous switch), much less drive such a car in high-traffic situations.

I'm certainly not a 'Vette fan but Lingenfelter builds some truly spectacular vehicles. I'd rather have the CTS but seriously, a 725 hp street car

It looks nice and performs well, i'd consider one if i had the money, but i'd crank the boost up to 14psi so i can still use pump fuel, but have a ton of fun on the street.

Yeah, but you couldn't use all that power until 4 gear, and then you are well into speeds that should NEVER be used on public streets. I tend to preferr to stick my foot into it and not have to baby the go-pedal for traction.
