The GTR is the automotive equivalent of the F-16 fighter plane. Like it or not, it has put the world on notice that in the very near future, everybody is going to need serious electronic hardware controlling every aspect of the vehicle to remain competitive......at least when building cars within the same price range and beyond.

Just goes to show a lightweight "simple" car can still beat the heavyweight complicated car around the track. Two opposite extreme approaches to high performance - but at what point is the GT-R driver still driving the car?

Depending on whether or not it is fully defeatable. Like it or not I doubt anyone can turn off all the GTR's Gismos and beat it's times. Sliding the rear looks cool but if the tires are spinning it's wasting power that could be directed to the front for greater power out.
