Chrysler have SRT version of pretty much every vehicle.
If prices of gas keep going up they will be in bigger trouble than they were back in early 1970s.

Pretty nice. I like the appearance of the previous gen. of Grand Cherokee, but 425 horses makes this version seriously attractive. I applaud Chrysler for sticking the 6.1 Hemi in any pretty much any engine bay that's large enough. It's going to be great to see how this thing stacks up against the SportTrac Adrenaline, as well.
I should add that sticker price may be its downfall. With a well-equipped 5.7L 4X4 going for ~40K, I can't see this rolling off the showroom floor for less than 50K. At that price, I'd probably go for a CTS-V.

hahaha... i'll admit it looks cool, i've always liked the cherokee. this latest rendition a little less, though the srt-8 version looks a little better. This sub 5 second 0-60 time is pretty incredible.
but ya, going around the city, and seeing the types of people who drive cars like this, it kinda depresses me. why not just get a sports car? why not get a shelby GT500 and save the extra bucks for a sweet downhill mountain bike, for all your gritty off road pleasures. Or maybe an S6 avant or even a magnum SRT-8 if its people hauling your looking for, not the offroad business.
