Jaguar CX16 concept
Surprised I've not seen this discussed yet.........unless I've missed it.
I think the new generation of Jaguars need to be seen on the road to be really appreciated. The XF is gorgeous (and the facelifted one is verging on stunning) and the XJ is fabulous.
Can't wait to see the final version, but the concept gets a 9/10 for me.
Looks better on the move:

Just kidding, this car is so beautiful it deserves it's own thread anyway.
There is a lot of hype for this Jag at the Frankfurt Auto Show, and rightly so. What I love about it is to me it's not even controversial, which is very hard to achieve with most modern designs. It's just full on 100% beauty.

No, I don't think Jaguar set out to make a car that ugly. I like it, but the front bumper openings seem a little too big and the rear end looks a bit too plain. Those tail lights remind me of something off a Acura (before their "styling" really went down the crapper). Overall, a beautiful design that looks like it is trying to separate itself further from Aston Martin. Build it. And then make a FIA GT racing version.

Sorry Lawrence, missed your original thread
As for the rear lights, I think they were designed to give a nod to the original ones on the series 1 E-Type
