I gotta go with you on this one. I am so entirely sick of this trend. If it's done tastefully ok I can deal. That's cool with me. but most of these are retarded sparklemobiles with 50000 tv sets in them and 1000 play stations. And i am really tired of all this stuff being refered to by it's "gansta" name. 'Bling bling" "Dub" Come on you idiots learn how to speak english and be a human.

and yes i am cranky this morning

It signals that it's time for button-down folks down in the engineering and design trenches to start getting jiggy with it and get used to hip-hop terms such as "dubs" and "bling bling" (shiny chrome parts).
Even if it was cool, it's not anymore, not after statements like this from motortrend.

20" wheels == unless done tastefully -- so far the only tasteful instance I've seen was on the 05 concept

And i am really tired of all this stuff being refered to by it's "gansta" name. 'Bling bling" "Dub" Come on you idiots learn how to speak english and be a human.

THANKYOU!

I'm not the only one...It's like certain blacks want to distinguish themselves from the whites (who they despise and CAN"T be associated with ) so they on purposely talk so no one in thier right mind can understand a thing they say.

"yo dawg sup wit de"

I still do not no what that means...I still ahve so many ghetto people say that to me..Im' lost.

First, implying that people who talk like that are subhuman is $%&#ed up beyond belief. As for the more recent post, you're CLEARLY not who they're marketing towards, so don't be a little whiny biznatch ($%&#ing language filters) about it. There was a discussion about stereotypes cars have in the 2005 forum, this discussion is just as rife with them, and considerably more offensive ones, since we're talking about PEOPLE now and not automobiles.

It's cool hunting, I saw this on MTV I think. People are actually paid to go around figuring out what the next thing to be cool is, and market it to the sheep. Urban is in, of course the rule of cool hunting is that once you've found the new cool thing, you must market it, thereby killing it and then get back to looking for the next cool thing, which I think will have something to do with either mormonism or being vegan based on my research. In the meantime, I would like to point out that ghetto slang, in its most recent snoop shizzle izzle bizzle form is very similar to the zoom kids ibby dibby dabby wabby flubby dubby language. Perhaps a synergism is possible if we shift paradigms to combine both in some sort of urban/retarded 5yr old slang ad campaign. I suggest a hooptyfied escalade on dubs of course, with snoop at the wheel, big bird riding shotgun and some beatches in the back danc'n n'gettn necked n'shizzle.
