If you hate Ricers then you need to watch this.
I get all these little punks across the street trying to do their "awesome" FWD burnouts in their Civics and CRXs...
Until now, I've resisted the urge to back up my Stang and engulf them in some REAL burnout smoke...lol...I don't wanna waste rubber just to show up some losers...

A kid in my niebhorhood has one of those loser cruisers too. All of his buddys come by every once and awhile and they walk and pace around it and stare at it from different angles like it's just a beautiful classic car...You would think they were looking at a fully restored 1968 Shelby GT500KR.............It's a Honda Civic buddy!!!!.......It's not a race car!!!!!......I weep for the future..
1.) Modern 4 cylinders, especially forced induction 4 cylinders, dependant upon modification, will eat some 6/8 cylinders alive. It's the whole power-to-weight thing...
MOST IMPORTANTLY...
2.) When you're in your teens and/or early 20's, still in school, working 2 jobs, you STILL can't afford big $$ cars. You work with what you've got, be it a Civic, Neon, Focus, Cavalier, etc. (see avatar for daily driver).

oh and btw, the 'fast and furious' is going out of style... go over to srtforums.com and see how low-key most of the cars there are, seriously. People are de-badging, taking off wings, making the cars look NORMAL, to avoid getting grouped in with the "ricers".
Ricer-style = tickets.

Keep it clean!
I'm not starting a war here lol but

I also agree, I will never insult someone's car when it's all they can afford. If they love modding, and all they can afford is a $15k car, then more power to them. Live and let live.
I gotta say though, the Mustang is NOT "big $$$ cars." Our Mustangs are CHEAP. We're the Civics of the sports / muscle car world. Thank god for the aftermarket.
So anyways, Jessica, what's your sign?
Edit: P.S. That standup was funny (because it's true), I sent it to my ricer friends.
Had a good laugh with the video.
It is pretty true for the majority of people out there who mod those cars.
I'll admit I had a eclipse in high school and put intake and exhaust (not a coffee can but the lowest sounding rumble I could get with 4 cyl.) because it was about all I could afford back then.
At least I've wised up since then!

I'll chime in here on the whole 4-banger thing. My last car was a '96 Talon Turbo AWD, and on NUMEROUS occasions I smoked sn95 Mustangs (GTs). As modified, the car had about 260hp but it weighed in at around 3000lb and hooked up awesome. My point is that I never underestimate a car because it's only a 4 cylinder. A turbo can go a long way on these cars. However, it's true, about 90% of those tricked out Civics and Neons are like annoying gnats. It's the EVOs and Sti's you gotta watch out for.
I have a 1992 Pontiac Grand AM 4 cyl. I use to think of it as my every day car so I bought a 2007 Mustang GT as a performance car......My Grand Am is a little beat up and not much to look at but from what I'm reading above I should sell my 2007 Mustang GT. take the money and buy a big *** wing for the back, Put a coffee can tail pipe on it and talk **** to every nice muscle car I see on the road........Everybody has a hot rod these days.......My sister drives a 2006 Chevy Aveo.... That's a hot rod!!!..........My grandfather drives a hundai......I guess that's a hot rod too...........Every car on the road these days is a high performance car. Why did I buy a Mustang???......I have a 4 cyl Pontaic Grand Am high performance muscle car..........Watch out Shelby GT500......I have a coffee can for a tail pipe!!!!!
