I would've kept the Mustang, but if you like it - that's all that matters. Enjoy the new car.

Yeah, but a C230?? That's either a good-sized 4-banger or a really tiny 6. Which one?

If it's a 6spd, how does the shifter and clutch feel compared to the Mustang?

It looks to be the 7-speed automatic, with the paddles on the steering wheel, I think.

its the V6 with the 7speed auto. the seemless shifting is nice when your accelerating. they did away with the kompressor models last year for the bigger n/a V6. to me it has plenty of power and it handles the twisties quite well.

Don't hate on the guy just because he was looking for a change. I've owned a couple of BMWs over the years and a couple of Mustangs. They were like apples and oranges, but I enjoyed them both. German cars have an entirely different feel from American cars. Not better, IMO, just different. As for quality, Benz is great. But that is not always a German thing. The worst POS I ever owned was a Jetta.

I'm glad someone here agrees with me about the quality of VW. They are really pricey when the time comes to fix them without warranty help.

Yeah I owned a Scirocco. Loved that car... BUT everything other than the engine fell apart on it.

All of the interior, the windows died about five times. Other than the engine it was pretty bad. And it cost me at least $300 every time I took it in.

once you find your way to www.vwvortex.com... and decide to fix your car yourself. VW's are by far and a way not horrible. I am going to go back as soon as i have the money.

That's a very, very nice car. It'd be nice if it had a bit more power but a very cool ride nonetheless. Congrats!

I prefer BMW's myself, Benz's are a bit too cushy.
