its the V6 with the 7speed auto. the seemless shifting is nice when your accelerating. they did away with the kompressor models last year for the bigger n/a V6. to me it has plenty of power and it handles the twisties quite well.

Yeah I owned a Scirocco. Loved that car... BUT everything other than the engine fell apart on it.
All of the interior, the windows died about five times. Other than the engine it was pretty bad. And it cost me at least $300 every time I took it in.

German cars have an entirely different feel from American cars. Not better, IMO, just different. As for quality, Benz is great. But that is not always a German thing. The worst POS I ever owned was a Jetta.
