Hyundai HND-9 Sports Coupe Concept
Wowzaaaaa...!
Man, if the next Genesis Coupe can retain most of the HND-9's stylistic DNA intact (minus the obvious show/concept car flourishes), I think the lower and mid-range Mustangs may well have to real Asian competition. Of course, soooo much can get lost in translation, but hey, not a bad starting point.
Now if Hyundai would ever truly grow a pair and just stick that 5.0 of their's in this thing (or at least pressurize that 3.3 V6 to well over 400hp) to really serve notice to the Stang, Camaro and Challenger that there's a new player in town...

Yeah, Hyundai has really upped their game lately from being nearly joke cars to purveying some serious iron lately. That's why I think sticking their 5.0 in that thing, while hardly a practical thing--they have the whole rest of their lineup for that--would be a great symbol of self confidence and hey, a bit of corporate fun and soul for Seoul (sorry :-).

Except I would say much nicer than each of those. Maybe toss in a bit of Aston Martin too. Again though, its one thing to craft a gorgeous show car, the real skill will be translating it into an actual road car without its beauty getting totally compromised and watered down as is usually the case.

Infiniti badging (Q60) and grille would not look too out of place on this car. Sticking a V8 under that hood and slotting it above the Genesis would take Hyundai a big step further towards being taken more seriously by car enthusiasts.

Pretty cool, though the grille shape/placement (though not thee texture and material of the grille) remind me a lot of the Focus ST. which is not a bad thing at all.
It would be really sweet if the next gen genesis (hehe) finally gets the V8
