According to my insurance company's website (Allstate), it would cost $210 MORE (in 6 mos.) to insure my 2002 Mustang GT in Hampton, VA than it would a 2005 Pontiac GTO. How the heck is this possible?

Guess one look at the GTO and the insurance fools must think it is a special edition Cavalier Z24

theft risk plays a lot into it. ie: here in Nothern VA, it was cheaper for me to insure my 02 mustang than my 93 4 door integra because integras and that type car here are so popular and get stolen all the time
