I guess the GTO isn't selling too well. I just saw a commercial for Pontiac last night, and the 2004 GTOs had $3500 rebates on them, plus special financing rates.

 

good... hope this is payback to some dealers that put markups on the car initially.

I read they were planning on shipping about 18,000 to the US, from what I read, I think there were about 6,000 sold? Other than the styling, it is a nice car.

Welps thats true IF I was to say I'd buy one, sept that I wouldn't. The exterior is almost as ugly as a Pinto... At least if a chick has a face like a dog you can put a bag over it... j/k I have to agreee if she's a dog, she be a dog.

The GTO is a darned nice car except for the styling. Every time I see one while driving I almost fall asleep. It's a travesty that they resurrected the name with this thing, but they are reaping what they they sowed.

 

I wouldn't buy one anyway. I saw one in Boise while I was on vacation and it's the first "sporty" car that looked worse in person then in pictures. The interior might be really nice but you can't see it or appreciate it from the outside.

 

I have already seen two GTOs at a used car lot. I think people went over thier heads with this car, because I've test driven the car and its very good and the interior is awesome, but not $30k+awesome
