You may want to just go test drive one. The V6 may be powerful enough for you. The V6 is rated at 250 hp and 250 ft-lbs.
MY personal v6 is fast enough for me.......of which I am 100% pleased with.

Sadly- since he doesn't drive Ellie, I won't be driving whatever he buys- so I can't say HEY HEY HEY this six is nice- BUY IT pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

Aren't they the same car just with different badging? They look the same to me.
They both optioned out differently. The Marquis has more higher end options like full digital gauges, two tone paint, and special appearnce packages to make it appeal more towards old people. The Vic is optioned out to appeal more toward the 30-50 year old crowd. It has more sporty options like bucket seats, 17 inch wheels, and a shifter located on the center console. Vics may not be quick stock buth with a few mods, Marauder airbox, 180 degree stat, removing the cats, steeda under drive pullies, a good PCM tune, cold spark plugs, and K&N air filter the car will be able to hit 15s. If you get 3.73 gears on top of that, you can hit 14s but beware, you will need a custom drive shaft, $500, or someone to balance your stock drive shaft. The other key mod is to bore out the tranny fluid passages on the valve body which will greatly increase flow. This will let your tranny shift much faster and greatly reduce line pressure. I can find you the instructions on what you got to do. There's a few other smaller things invloved. I believe you have to modify the actuators for the 1st-4th gears and the one for reverse. Sure it is time consuming but in the end, you can end up with a really large and really quick car for only $4,000-$5,000 worth of work.

first vote, the Mustang in Tungsten with red interior (although seems like that won't be offered - stupid Ford), but that's obvious

If he wants something bigger, can't go wrong with the Charger, what could possibly look better sitting in your driveway than a Screaming Yellow Mustang and an Orange Charger (ok a Zinc yellow mustang and an Orange Charger but I'm splitting hairs now). One thing you might want to look into, is that something tells me the orange and yellow will only be available on those Daytona or SRT8 or whatever they called them.

If you're looking for a truck, I don't know why you'd consider anything other than the F-150.

Friends don't let friends drive Grand-Prix.

Since he doesn't drive Ellie, I'm assuming there is some reason, so my vote went to the Charger.

Yea- He said Ellie is my car, and he is petrified to drive her. He thinks if something happens he is a dead man. I offer him the keys daily-he declines daily.
PLUS he doesn't fit in her to well- hes tall. He doesn't like knocking knees with the dash.

For a work truck? He's actually quite pissed he couldn't find a manual truck. His 96 f150 blew an engine and got replaced.

Orange 04- I DO NOT CARE what kind- six,gt,cobra, mach 1 long as its orange and under warranty. That's choice #1 around here right now.

ha ha, if u get a cobra, u otta let me drive it for a few years. The 04-present F-150s dont come with a manual trans. If i were him, for a work truck, get a 6.0 PSD with a 5 speed auto or a V-10 with a 6 speed manual.

I figured y'all should get a Sport Trac or Quad Cab F-150. Be the family hauler and you have the convience of a pick up bed.

But...if y'all don't forsee any need for a truck bed, then I'd say go for the Charger/Magnum.
