SO I was watching the Dallas/Tampa game....and durring the commercial break where they were revieing the call of the interception by Dallas....one of those Lexus Christmas (Holiday) commercials came on where the big red bow is on the car....and get this....it was a man.....giving to another man....and they were all being "coy" about who the car was for.....

i thought it was a woman, I saw it too. And they complain why :gay: people are on the rise

 

I dont think the average football fan is really interested in seeing that kind of commercial, stupid PR people eh.

 

I'm sure plenty of Raider fans would have enjoyed it

I guess they just mistakenly put it on the wrong game

 

Looks like those boys were having a "raging clue" about who was the lucky one!
Also they one-uupped Ford's lame Freestyle Divorce commercial.

I just saw this commercial, i don't think they are supposed to be gay.

Each one walks out of a different house, the lexus is in the street between the houses with a big red bow on it and they're talking to each other like they each think it's for themselves.

 

I agree. Not as big of a deal as some have made the commercial out to be in my opinion.

Not a "gay" commercial at all. The car is parked exactly half way between the two properties. Each guy thinks the car is a gift for him from his wife.

 

Sounds like it might be vaguely targeted to a gay market.

But hey, why not, gay/lesbian people have (often a lot of) money and need cars too, seems practical and sensible to me to appeal to a legal market segment, even if some have a negative opinion based on specific moral/religious viewpoints, this is America after all (my libertarian side coming out).

I imagine they also watch football.

 

Codeman94 you missed the point of that commercial completely. As someone else stated, the two guys are trying to figure out which one of them was getting the car as a gift from their wife. They have a similar commercial with two women.

 

at first i thought they were gay until i saw the one with the women.. i wonder if lexus corporate hq knows that everyone thinks their commerical is about gay folks.. lol..

I saw the women one.....and that one makes sence....each one of them thinks thier husbands bought it for them......but seriously...how many wifes buy thier husbands a Lexus......I'm just sayin......thats how I took it.
