Gas Prices In Your Area?

Just wondering what prices you guys are paying at the pump.

Two weeks ago it had been hovering around $3.09 for .87. Yesterday I'm at a stoplight next to the Shell gas station that I always go to, it's up to $3.34!

you're gonna have to convert that for us, we forgot about the metric system in the early '80's . . . . I think that's around $5US/gallon ?

Here in Massachusetts I paid $3.099/gal yesterday for 87 . . . that's up at least 0.10 since less than a week ago

It's about $3.50 a gallon for 93 here in NOVA. However, I switched back to 87 so I pay between $3.10-$3.20

The three competing cheap stations here are 3.15 for 87 reg. Up about a dime from the Jan 1 gas tax spike and the min wage bump (no self serve in OR) thanks to the jack wagon governor Kulongoski whose term just expired - but his tax increases on the poor didn't. And thanks to him its all 10% food based ethanol here. I don't even look at the brand name stations.

1 gallon of '87 gas in my area would translate to about $4,50. I'm still not getting this one though, we have the 2nd largest oil reserve on this planet and we still get screwed by the big oil companies. Thet say it should hit $5,50/ gallon by the summer !!!

You shouldn't be complaining in your part of the hood, we've already hit $1,25/liter this past week-end, then they brought it down to $1,22/liter which is where we stand right now in the Montreal area. We get srewed BIG TIME over here. Drive 20-25 km out of the city and you'll see prices go down as much has 10cents/liter.

a large part of our prices being higher is the 13% we pay straight to the governement for HST
