Fortune, Ford, Futura, and Fusion
Just finished "Fortune Magazine"'s article on Bill Ford. Basically, he has everyone wondering what the heck he's doing. He seems to be increasing profitability and customer satisfaction at the same time, while defying established trends and methods. Half the industry watchers think he'll ultimately ruin the company that way, the other half think he might turn it into a Powerhouse in the next few years. Very intersting read.
Almost skimmed over in the article is a Fast Fact: The Sedan Formerly KNown as Futura is indeed destined to be the Ford Fusion.

sweet, i was wondering when nuclear fusion would trickle its way down to family cars. nuts to you, fuel cell, i'm fusing my hydrogen atoms.
i always thought futura was a pretty lame name. fusion sounds more modern and futuristic than futura.
I'm looking forward to both the st and hybrid models of this car, i'll take one of each. plus the cold fusion one.
thanks
