Does anyone out there know of any dealers that are taking orders on these cars? I see some dealers on Ebay charging quite a bit over sticker. I suspect after the excitement, the cars will be available at sticker. Thanks for any info.

They are all selling over sticker. Once the excitement dies down there won't be any left. Town & Country Ford here in Birmingham is getting two and is begging for a third. The dealership will keep one, auction off the second with the money being donated to charity, and they have a buyer in Las Vegas willing to pay $200,000+ for the third if they get it.

It will officially belong to Steve Watts. I'm hoping for just a ride-along.

We are getting one for sure, the owner is keeping it, and may get a second one that no one knows what will happen to it or what it is going to sell for yet.

We'll see, but I think those production numbers are quite high. My feeling is that at some point you will be able to get one for sticker price before production ends. Which is what happen with Sl500, Sl55, PT Cruisers, etc, etc. I had to wait 6 months for my Sl, but it was worth the wait.

Maybe I am saying this because I really would like to have one and don't feel people should have to pay that much over sticker.

I'm pretty sure that if you can't write a check on the spot for the whole amount they're asking, they ain't gonna sell it to u.

I think anyone buying this car probably doesn't need financing or rebates. B)
