Sliding roof is nice, but look at GM's version of that. Most of them just sit on the lots, and god what if something went wrong?

The Envoy? Those things are hideous enough before having a retractable roof. Add one of those and you got yourself one fine piece of GM crap... certified with peanuts and corn.

If something went wrong, I suppose it'd get fixed.

No worse then a sunroof or convertible roof if it went on the fritz, I don't suppose.

And the freestyle would be drivable and water-safe with the roof stuck halfway. As opposed to an envoy which would flood in the rain or a Vert wich could damage the roof.
