Ward's auto has named the 4.6L 3V on it's 10 best engines.

I like my Mustang GT but I can't say my motor is better than a GM LS2. Or even an older LS1/LS6 for that matter.

But the three valve 4.6 is a step in the right direction, however there still is no replacement for displacement and the GM LSx engines have that in spades.

Glad to see the 4.6L get some love. Also agree with the 2.3L Turbo from the Mazdaspeed 6

For what it's worth, I had a 99 F150 with the "Ward's award winning 5.4 engine" which had bad head gaskets. I sure hope my 06 GT fares better.
